A Quick checklist!
If you're in this season of job seeking (or) soon you will be on it, this a short checklist that you can use, which has helped me a lot.
Why should they pick you? Highlight relevant skills and the value you can add.
Why are you in need of a job? Be honest about the reason.
How much do you know about yourself? Have a ready brief description of yourself.
Strengths and Weaknesses?
A clear idea of your long-term vision and commitment.
Strategy for Salary Negotiation.
Understand the JD (Job Description) and their expectations. Make some guesses about potential questions and be prepared to answer them.
How should you talk? Give non-trivial and impactful answers. Explain the process and quantify your achievements whenever possible, as it builds trust. If you don't know the answer to a question, acknowledge it honestly.
Be prepared to say "No" if you feel the job is not the right fit for you.
Be genuine!
